The Philosophy of Life
(by Dr. Moessncr)
The Philosophy of Life embraces
much; our religion; our politics;
our hopes and fears; our family
relations; our homes; our towns,
cities and country; our health and
the diseases we are afflicted with.
A right understanding of this, a
right application, the will to do,
makes the game of life a sucess al-
ways and in every way. We may
not be know i as great, may not
be known at all outside of our im-
mediate neigbbtrhood, may never
accumulate much morey, yet at
tht1 final, after the span of life is
ended or nearing its end, the “well
done” can be said of us. Our lives
we have lived is as an open book,
nothing to regret, no chapters we
are ashamed of, nothing to hide;
the world is better off that we
have lived in it; we have given
more than we have received. This
is success. This is life’s Philosophy
and wisdom lived. ,
What is Life? Who can answer.
What is electricity? Who can
answer this? Methinks, God a-
lone knows.
Life is warmth and action, but
what it is more than this no one
can answer. Electricity is
same, heat, motion and power,
when it is used. Yet no one knows
what it is. Neither life nor elec-
ticity can be seen. Isita gas? It’s
not the air. May not life and
electricity be the same, and both j
the power of God? Electricity is
everywl ere in abundance. All we
have to do is collect it and put it
to use. Yet, with all the uses we
put it to, no one can tell what it
really is. So no one can tell what
leaves the body when death changes
it from t he warm living person, to
the still, cold body. Something is
gone. The Bible tells us “The
spirit returns to God who gave it.”
The individual, the body, remains
and is buried to stay there until
the resurrection when all will be
