As a fitting final and closing
attraction, the high school has
scheduled two games with the
strong girls’ team from Sulphur
high schcNDl. They are also
making efforts to bring the
Francis or Holden vilie boys here
for games at the same time. If
these arrangements are com-
pleted, the people of Wewoka
will have an opportunity to wit-
ness two of the fastest and best
double headers ever staged In
the state.
The Sulphur girls alone will
be an attraction that wil be
worth the money. This team,
has defeated everything in the
southern part of the state.
They defeated Ada high school
by about the same margin that
Wewoka scored over the same
team. They have left the repu-
tation, everywhere they have
played, of being one of the
fastest teams, In the state.
These; two games are sure to be
battles royal, and some of the
classiest basket ball o fthe sea-
son win be displayed.
The expense of bringing the
Sulphur girls here will be very
heavy and the price Of admis-
sion will be 25 and 35 cents each
night regardless of whether
double headers are secured.
You wOl have to come early if
you And even standing room,
for these, the last games of the
season, are sure to be attended
by a record breaking-crowd.
