Tecumach High School was fortunate
indeed in having as a guest Wednes-
day, Dr. E. E. Dalai Professor History,
in Oklahoma University at Norman.
Dr. Dalo is a personal friend of Supt.
Dowell, and by his gentility and un-
usual personality won ail the high
aehool students as his friends.
The student body was assembled sev-
eral times during the day to enjoy
stories of Indians, and folk-lore or
vivid and interesting tales told by Dr.
Dale. He gave incidents of early days
uf Oklahoma, as could uono otheqs,
except those who had experienced tho
hardships and trials of that time. Most
pleasing were the poems of his own
composition that he road.
Tecumsoh High School always glad-
ly accepts such men as Dr. Dale.

Little James Rowland Bowers, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Bowers of Maud, Ok.,
died November 12, 1920, aged 14
months.
James Rowland now, is gone away.
Oh, how sad his parents must be,
To miss his smiling face each day,
No more his smiling face to see.
The little sisters seem so sad;
They miss their brother when at play.
He used to make them feel so glad
To lisp the words he learned to say.
When Father goes away from home,
And then returns with taco all sad,
He has no little flower to come
With smiles, to lisp the name of Dad.
Then the Mother with a heart of love
And eyes turned toward the sky,
By faith she sees her child above
And brings his presence very nigh.
Lea, Jesus knows what to do,
And fondly draws him to his breast,
And thus he smiles and waits for you
To join him in eternal rest.
Then parents cheer, press gladly on,
Tour child is safe in arms of love,
’Tis true that he, from you is gone,
But you again shall meet above.
