MILLER MIDAWY SHOWS
are exhibiting in Hobart this
week, and the kiddies as well
as the grown-ups are taking
advantage of the many amuse-
ments that are to be seen on
the show ground. Prof. Kerr’s
circus side show seems to be
the one big laughing spot of
them all. Why wouldn’t it?
It’s just like jungle land in
South Africa. Those funny
monkeys, talking parrots, big
snakes, wild animals, good mu-
sic, in fact it’s Gala Week in
Hobart.

Radio=Radio
Radio is the most amazing invention of the age and the one
increasing most rapidly in the public interest. There is hardly
a state in the Union that has not from 20,000 upward home
radio installations. Farmers are using it to secure the latest
market information and through it people in even remote
locations are listening to grand opera and other forms of enter-
tainment in their homes. The possibilities seem unlimited.
Instead of depreciating or fearing its effect upon the present
news mediumns; The Rocky News is assisting the movement to
increase home radio sets. We will carry a feature department
teaching the science of wireless and the manufacturing of sets.
Starting next week The Rocky News will run a regular, one
to two columns of news devoted to radio instructions, the
economical making of home outfits and the latest and most in-
teresting information relating to this wonderful science.
