NOTICE
The Methodist Episcopal
Church of Oklahoma set them-
selves an Herculean task when
they undertook to raise a million
and a half dollars for the Okla-
homa City College. The church
owns a fine campus of 22 acres
on 23d Street, just three blocks
from Classen Boulevard. The
funds are for buildings and for
an endowment. That they are
meeting with success we have on-
ly to look at the figures reported
late last week, nearly $700,000 al-
ready pledged. Of this sum the
M. E. ministers of the Oklahoma
Conference here pledged $96,300;
(they will make it a round one
hundred thousand. ‘‘Never be-
fore did 182 ministers pledge
that amount for their college
here or any where else. It is un-
paralleled in the history of phil-
anthropic finance.”
The Methodist Church has
three large universities in Kan-
sas, but the Oklahoma constituen-
ev demanded a college second to
none in Oklahoma, and they are
hard at work to accomplish that
end.
There was a local drive made

No Depositor Ever Lost a Dollar In a
State Bank In Oklahoma
What Becomes of the
Money You Earn?
If it goes into a bank or into an investment for your maintenance
in the later years of life, you are wise—also fortunate.
If it is frittered away from day to day you are unfortunate now,
and you will be even more unfortunate when old age overtakes you.
A bank account starts you right and keeps you going. It also
gets you there.
Why not be on the safe side and open
an account with this growing bank?
