We arc authorized to announce
in this week’s issue of our paper
the name of Mr. J. C. Wesner of
Foss, Okla., as a candidate for
the office of County Commis-
sioner for this, the second dis-
trict. of Washita County.
Mr. Wesner is a well to do
farmer who has resided on his
farm in the north side of the
County for the past twenty
years. Having made a success
of HIS own business, he will
doubtless handle the allairs of
this County in the same economic
way that he has handled his own 1 J-
private affairs, tflo is well and ||
favorably known by many good1*
citizens in this part of the
County, and from all reports _
will doubtless be a strong can-II
didate for the office.
Mr. Wesner informs ns that
he has bought a small farm near
Cordell and will move there this
fall whether he gets this office
or [hot, which will make it more
convenient for him it elected.
