Tent Meeting.
There was a large attendance at
the tabernacle last nlglit and good at-

morning at Purcell In which an old
man lost his life, The old man had
sold a claim near Perry aud was on
his way to Texas with hit wife and
daughter, hiving In his possession SIOO

c'alm. When he left Perry lie left
behind a debt due the United Sta es
commissioner. The commissioner
telegraphed to Purcell aud had the
old man detained. Last night the
commissioner went to Purcell to se-
cure his money. Word came from
Purcell this morning that while the
old man was under arrest, he rcached
Into his pocket to give his daughter
the money he had, when the deputy,
