July Clearing Sale
Whirls Into Action at the Grand Leader Monday Morning, July 16th
We are out
to make a
will do it
EVERY ITEM IN THIS STORE WILL BEAR A REDUCED
As it is our policy to carry nothing over from season to
season we make these reductions without ceremony to
carry out this policy. This is not a sale of accumulated
bankrupt stocks or shopworn goods but a clearing sale, strict
ly legitimate in every respect, with a stock of I his season
most desirable merchandise.
DELIGHTFUL BLOUSES REDUCED TO 69 c
It is wonderful that such waists should sell at 69c. It is in-
deed an opportunity among opportunities. We suspect that
you are going to buy them in twos and threes for hey are
blouses that you well know are sold at considerably more
once you see them. Voiles and organdies in simple styles, or
as elaborate as you choose. Yes, they are odd lots, but there
are all sizes—not a great many. Please take warning.
Because the items are few in num-
ber you are not to think that the
clearing sale struck a glancing blow
at the glove counter. On the contrary
it hit aplumb and shattered prices
leaving fractions of them. I he first
group which is formed of these are
silk gloves at 39c.
Ever hear of silk gloves at 39c a
pair before? Don t think so. Short
length of course are the very ones
most active in the summer demand.
The sizes are broken but not so badly
as the price which is less than hall
Black and White.
Greatest Event ot the Year Golden Opportunity in Wearing Apparel
Individual branches of our business may announce as re-
markable value giving occasions, but never before nor never
again this year, have or will all the various departments joined
in such a simultaneous record achieving event. I his is one or
the few times when it is good business to forget what we paid
for the goods and to consider only what price will surely and
promptly sell them.
We have had a wonderful spring business and that gives
another reason for caring little what we lose oil the odd lots
of good merc handise about the store. I ht p odd lots make
the richest kind of bargain material and we have made the
richest kind of bargains out of them. But there are many ot
them in quantities too small to advertise.
Be on hand when the store opens at 10 o'clock Monday
morning. The best values go first.

visedly. The values are sensational, sheer and headlong re-

instance at less than cost. Wish we could hold these gar-
