J. I), Howard extended the hospital-
ity of her beautiful home on North
Kickapoo, in honor of Mrs. U M.
Smith of Appleton City. Mo., and Mrs.
Hamilton of Mason, Texas. .Mrs. Smith
is the mother of Mrs. Harry Smith,
and Mrs. Hamilton the mother of Mrs.
F. V. Ashew and Mrs. C. K. Wallace.
The guests spent the afternoon in
exchanging Kensington ideas, ami
were further entertained by a num-
ber of well chosen Vietrola records
and several readings about Mother,
by Mi as Boylan.
The rooms were tastefully decora!
ed with growing plants and cut flow-
era, the appointment of the luncheon
table being especially artistic, from
which the -hostess, assisted by Mrs.
Thompson and Mrs. Burton served a
most delicious collation.
Those who were honored by an in-
vitation to meet those visiting ladles
