Christmas Dinner
Of interest to his many friends in El Reno was the wed-
ding of Robert J. Fowler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Arthur Fowler, Roswell, N. M., and Miss Kathlynn Marshall,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Marshall, of Amarillo,
Tex., at 5 o’clock Friday afternoon at the Polk Street
Methodist church in Amarillo, Tex.
Dr. J. W. Marshall of Plainview, Tex., an uncle of the
bride, officiated at the double-ring ceremony before an altar
banked with pure white chrysanthemums and double stocks.
At the center was a double candelabra holding white cathe-
dral candles and clusters of flowers in a garland of fern.
On either side were crystal floor vases of white flowers
flanked by floor cadelabras

Mrs. Harry G. Morning of Ama-
rillo, vocalist, was accompanied by
Mrs. Lewis Cooper, also of Ama-
rillo, organist, when she sang “I
Love You Truly,” by Carrie Jacobs
Bond, and "Thine Alone,” by Victor
Herbert. During the ceremony Mrs.
Cooper played "Lord’s Prayer,” by
Malotte.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, chose a dress of white
nylon net and imported Chantilly
lace, fashioned with a full ballerina-
length skirt, topped with a fitted
lace bodice and net leg-o-mutton
sleeves coming to points over her
hands. Her veil of nylon net and
Chantilly lace was fingertip length.
She carried a Victorian bouquet
in-law and groomsmen were Dan
J. Payne and Sergeant William
Weber, both of Roswell.
For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs.
Marshall chose a dusty rose dress
styled with a lace bodice and floor-
length crepe skirt accented with
matching accessories. Her corsage
was of pink perfection roses. Mrs.
Fowler wore a dress of moss green
velveteen which was floor-length,
with matching accessories. Her cor-
sage was of honey gold roses.
A reception was held at the Her-
ring hotel immediately after the
ceremony. The bride’s table was
covered with a white linen cloth
draped with lime green net and
a tiered wedding cake topped with
lovebirds and wedding bells was
at one end of the table and a
