On This Day We Rededicate Ourselves
To The Cause Of Freedom
A busy nation soon will pause to honor the dead of World War
I, and celebrate that day of Armistice, November 11, 1918 that
ended that terrible war—a war that failed to end all wars. We
have since faced other threats to our freedom, and that of other
nations, and fought still another war—World War II. The liberty
that we possess has been most dearly paid for—and, on Armis-
tice Day, 1951, we are more determined than ever, to hold on to
our liberty—for ever and ever more.
