Baustert-Voss Nuptials Read
Thursday in Okarche Church
Bridesmaids were Miss Joyce
Baustert, sister o( the bride, and
Miss Jeanette Voss, sister of the
bridegroom. They were dressed
identical to the maid of honor,
wearing aqua colored dresses, head
dress and mitts and carried cas-
cade bouquets of orchid chrysan-
themums. The maid of honor and
the bridesmaids wore rhinestone
necklaces, gifts from the bride.
Judy Gassen, niece of the bride-
groom was flower girl and Vance
Baustert, cousin of the bride was
ring bearer. Judy wore a floor-
length dress of white taffeta fea-
tured with a full corded skirt,
scooped neckline, finished with a
small collar. Her headdress was
trimmed with pearls and rhine
Miss Cecelia Jane Baustert, be-
came the bride of Clarence J.
Voss, of Pueblo, Colo., preceding
the Nuptial Mass at 9 a. m. Thurs-
day, Sept. 8, in Holy Trinity Cath-
olic church, Okarche.
Father Von Elm, pastor, read
the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is a daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. J. C. Baustert and the
bridegroom is a son of Mr. and
Mrs. Fred S. Voss.
The altar was decorated with
white gladioli and lighted candles
and pews were marked with white
ribbon. Following the ceremony
the bride and groom also placed a
basket of white gladioli on the
Blessed Virgin altar, while Tom
Teague sang, “Blessed Bq This
Day” by Caron, accompanied by
Sister M. Eleanor, who also play-
ed the traditional wedding march-
es and accompanied the Holy Trin-
ity highschool choir who sang dur-
ing the mass.
Acolytes serving at the mass
were Mark and David Baustert,
cousins of the bride, and Pat Sch-
warz and Joe Rother.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore a floor-length
gown of white Chantilly lace and
tulle over satin designed with a
V-chapcl bodice and long lace
sleeves tapering to points over the
wrist. The tulle yoke was finished
with appliqued lace medallions and|
a stand-up collar. The bouffant
skirt featured front and back j
panels of lace with inserts of tulle (
ruffles over a deep tulle dust ruf-
fle.
Her fingertip veil of bridal il-
lusion was attached to a tiara of
seed pearls. The bride's bouquet
was a purple orchid on a satin
covered prayer book showed with
stephanotis. She wore pearl ear-1 -
rings, a gift from the bridegroom j Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Hearrell, who

On His 3rd Birthday
Mrs. H. R. Sindelar was hostess
Wednesday afternoon at a party
on the lawn at the home of her
mother, Mrs. J. W. Ozmun, 1014
South Hoff.
The party was in celebration of

the third birthday of Rodney Nin-
man, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan
Ninman, 1021 Vk South Macomb.
Present were Ricky, Skippy, Cin-
thy, and Jim Sindelar, the hostess’
children, and Mrs. Ivan Ninman,
Mrs. J. W. Ozmun, and Mrs. Hen-
ry Bchne.

To Speak at Meeting
Paul R. Taylor, superintendent of
schools, will be guest speaker Fri-
day evening at a public meeting

strand of pearls, gift from the
bride. Vance carried the rings on
a white taffeta pillow, used at the
golden wedding of the bride’s ma-

Donald Voss was best man for
his brother and ushers were John-
nie Baustert, brother of the bride
and Joe Voss, cousin of the bride-
groom.
Mrs. Baustert, mother of the
bride, wore a two-piece plum co-
lored dress with black velvet trim
and black accessories. The bride-
groom's mother wore a powder
blue dress with navy accessories.
Each mother wore a pink carna-
tion corsage. Mrs. John Baustert,
paternal grandmother of the bride
and Mrs. Maggie Mueggenborg,
maternal grandmother of the bride-
groom, wore white carnation cor-
sages.
Memorial Episcopal church
The meeting will be at 7:30 p.m.
in the parish house and Mrs. J. G.
Newman, vice president of the
Guild, announced that the meeting
will be open to the public. The top-
ic of Mr. Taylor’s talk will be "In-
tegration in Public Schools of El
Reno.”

Q. How can I make a hair set-
ting solution?
A. By taking 3 1/2 pints of water,
to which is added 2 tablespoons of
quince seed, allowing it to boil for
5 minutes, and then strain.
