Girl Scout Week
Oct. 30 — Nov. 5
Next Week the Nation Salutes Its
Millions of Girls Engaged In Scouting...
This Week in El Reno You Are Asked To
Give To Our City's Girl Scout Budget
/
El Reno’s continued activity in the Field of Girl Scouting now
needs your financial support! A minimum budget of $2,500.00
has been set up to defray the entire cost of our local program
tor the year of 1950 and to balance the budget for the year of
1949. This is a small sum when compared to an active program of
Girl Scouting and its value to this community.
Nearly all of the budget is used right here in El Reno for the
benefit and development of our own Girl Scout projects.
Your contribution to the Girl Scouts will be wisely and carefully
invested. The fund will be spent to help pay the expenses of
full-time professional Girl Scout supervision in this area, of
which El Reno gets its full share. Other portions of the budget
defray the costs of the Annual Day Camp for Girl ’Scouts'HTRt~
Brownies, necessary supplies and El Reno’s portion of maintain-
ing the permanent Girl Scout camp at Lake Murray.
Make your contribution now, and as liberally as possible, to
assure that El Reno can join in the celebration of many, many
more “Girl (Scout Weeks”.
$2,500.00 Is Needed for 1949-1950
★ This Small Budget Will Cover All 1950 Girl Scout Needs As Well As
Balance the El Reno Budget for 1949!
★ The $2,500.00 Pays for Our Professional Workers, Our Annual Day
Camp, Our Portion of the Established Camp and Our Supplies!
★ Make Your Girl Scout Contribution Now and Assure the Continued Ac-
tivity of El Reno's Successful Girl Scout Program!
