ary Society oi the Christian
church met Wednesday afternoon
at the home of Mrs. Charles
Hutchison.
Mis. Otto Griffin was leader of
the lesson. The subject was "The
Uprooting of the Home.** Mrs.
Griffin was in charge of the de-
votlonals. -The Bugle Call," was
given by Mrs. Ed Smith.
A dialogue "Queen to Coy," wa^
given by Mrs Charles Burkhart
and Mrs. Charles Wagner.
A playlet. "In the Field of Des-
tiny We Reap," wss presented by
Mrs. John Gibson, Mrs. Kendall I
LIRle and Mrs. Otto Griffin.
After the program a social hour |
was enjoyed when the hostess as- 1
slsted by her granddaughter. Miss
Marjorie KroutU served delicious
refreshments.
Mrs. Morris Shepherd will be
hostess to the society in Septem-
ber.
