Presiding during the sessions
was Mrs. C. T. Hradney, county
chairman.
After the welcoming address
was given by Mrs. Loren Spurr,
district reports were marie con-
cerning activities pertinent to the
special election.
The work of the Iota Sigma
j chapter of W.C.T.U. and the
[ L.T.L. was discussed bv Mr*. W. H.
Puinphrey and Mrs. Spurr.
During the election of officers,1
Mrs. Pumphrey was elected presi-
dent; Mrs. B. B Holliday, secre-
tary, and Mrs J. M. Woods, treas-
urer.
After n noon covered dish lunch-
eon, the meeting reconvened with
an address by Rev. O. F. Stalser,
pastor of the Calumet mid Red
Rock churches.
A vocal solo. "I Will Not Have
Lived In Vain,” was sung by
Jimmy Brown preceding an ad-
dress on "Temperance" delivered
by Rev. Claude R. Ingram, pastor ;
of the First Christian church.
Memorial services were con-
