HAS LUNCHEON
A 1 o'clock luncheon was en-
joyed by the West Way club when
members met Monday in the home
of Mrs. H. S. McGee, 518 West
Watts street, with Mrs. Emil Doo-
bcrltz as co-hostess.
After the luncheon a short busi-
ness meeting was conducted, pre-
sided over by the president, Mrs.
McGee.
A lovely gift was presented to
Mrs. H. V. Yowell, who Is to leave
soon to make her home In Duncan.
The afternoon was spent playing
bridge and hearts.
Mrs. E. O. Hamilton was pre-
sented the prize for high score in
the bridge games, while Mrs. Don
Ahern received high In hearts. A
lovely door prize was won by Mrs.
Hazel Brown.
Present for the enjoyable after-
noon were Mrs. Ray McCormack,

Baptist university have been ex-
tended to include the week-end of
Nov. 25, according to Dean L. E.
Solomon, regis'rar.
The holiday will begin officially
at 5 p. m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, and
elasswork will be resumed at 8 a. m.
Monday, Nov. 29.
The change in the schedule, as
it appeared in the university cata-
ibg, was made to conform with the
time which is being allotted in the
other colleges throughout the state,
Solomon said.
