Mrs. A. L. Smith presented
lesson from the book "Magic Cir-
cle" Thursday for the Susan Fit-
kin chapter of the Nazarene Miss-
ionary society, it was announced by
Mrs. A F. Alien.
Mrs. Sadie Bales had charge of
the afternoon meeting in the home
of Mrs. Allen, 815 West London, in
the absence of the president.
Devotions were led by Mrs. J. C.
Beckner.

meeting for the summer Thursday,
It was announced today by Mrs. Joe
Keith.
The meeting was held at 2 p. m.
in the youth lounge of the Wesley
Methodist church.

singing, accompanied by Mrs. A. W.
Coleman at the piano.
Devotions, "Grant Us Thy Truth"
were given by Miss Shirley Fllppen.
Mrs. George Foreman, president
of the Wesleyan Service Guild, in-
troduced Mrs. Burrel McNnught.
Mrs. McNaught talked on Methodist
Student Work and showed films of
the University of Kansas at Law-
rence, Kan.
Mrs. T. W. Brittain, chairman,
offered prayer and conducted the
business session.
Refreshments were served by
members of Circle 1 at the close of
the meeting.

With Tournament Play
A regular duy of play was followed
by the second round In the handi-
cap tournament Thursday by mem-
bers of the Ladies Golf club.
Mrs. Floyd Leidy said there were
17 members present and one guest,
Mrs, Russell Davis of Coronado,
Calif. A luncheon was held at noon
at the country club.
In the regular play for low net.
balls were won in championship by
Mrs. R N. Dulmage, in class A
flight, by Mrs. J. B Swaim and in
class B by Mrs. Art Harrison.
Results in the second round of
the tournament were:
Mrs. Ocar Limestall defeated Mrs
Earl Woodhouse 3-up.
Mrs. Ed Koelsch defeated Mrs.
Marion Sharp 5 and 3.
Mrs. R. M. Dulmage defeated
