Regular Friday meetings of the
Everywoman's Bible class of the
First Christian church were re-
sumed with a noon covered dish
luncheon Sept. 16 at the church.
Officers elected during the busi-
ness session included Mrs. M. M.
Golden, president; Mrs. Wnrd Free-
man, vice president; Mrs. W. F.
Carroll, secretary; Mrs. Vern Peter-
son, assistant secretary; Mrs. F. R.
Qaughorn, treasurer; and Mrs. E. B.
Godfrey, reporter.
Selected to serve as class teacher
Was Mrs. Sam Freemnn with Mrs.
D. D. Walker as assistant teacher.
A committee was appointed by
Mrs. Golden to Investigate the
needs of the underprivileged of the
community and consists of Mrs.
Peterson, Mrs. R. A. MoClain and
Mrs. H. A. Smith.
During the remainder of the day,
members were engaged in quilting
and repairing clothing for the
needy.

fet dinner during the meeting Fri-
day evening in the home of Mrs.

During the business session con-
ducted by the president. Mrs. E. A
Simmons, plans were made for a
rummage sale to be held Sept. 27.
In games of pitch, prizes were
won by Mrs. Glen Craven with
high score and Mrs. Ivan Cox, sec-
ond high.
Attending were Mrs. E. F. Hodg-
kinson of Oklahoma City, Mrs. 8. 8.
Turner, Mrs. E. R Barnhart. Mrs.
A. J, Houle, Mrs. J. E. Jones, Mrs.
Bert Hensley, Mrs. A W. Walker,
Mrs. T. W. Rader, Mrs. Simmons,
Mrs. Cox, Mrs. Craven and the host-
esses.
During the Oct. 21 meeting Mrs.
Jones will assist Mrs. Walker with
the hostess duties in the home of

Mrs John Kasmeler and Mrs.
C. L. McGill were elected as dele-
gates to the synodical meeting at
Ardmore Oct. 5 during the Thurs-
day meeting of the General So-
ciety of Woman's Work of the
First Presbyterian church.
Mrs. R. M. Mallonee was in
charge of arrangements for the
1 o'clock covered dish luncheon
preceding the meeting.
Presiding during the business
session was Mrs. W. T. Reynolds,
Jr-
Devotions from the yearbook on
prayer were presented by Mrs. T.
M. Aderhold and the program
topic, under the direction of Mrs.
McGill, concerned the purpose in
the field of social education.
Division 2 will be the hostess
group during the Oct. 20 meeting

Mr. Kltzmlller, who also at-
tended the B Reno highschool!
was a member of the Forum de-
bating society and the Future
Farmers of America.
He now is employed by the
Southwestern Bell Telephone com-
pany In Oklahoma City.

Under the direction of Miss Thel-
ma Ratcliff, girls of the Piedmont
highschool speech class presented
a demonstration concerning "Oood
Grooming and Proper Dressing."
Participating in the demonstra-
tion were Marie Collins, Nelda En-
terllnc, Delores Entorline and Joan
Jones, with Norma Ussary serving
as mistress of ceremonies.
As the hostess, Mrs. Howard Rat-
cliff served refreshments to Mrs.
