For Cancer Study
BERKELEY, Calif , March 23—
(U.*> — University of California
aooloKiats have developed a strain
of "biologically uniform and pre-
dictable” mice to test treatment of
cancer.
Dr Kenneth DeOme. associate
professor of zoology and director
of the breeding project, said the
special strain is being produced
at the rate of 250 mice a month for
use In resenrch nt the University
of California and other universi-
ties.
The special strain Is valuable to
cancer researchers because of Its
reliability. Dr. DeOme explained.
In testing various types of tu-
