gagement of their daughter, Miss
Anna Eliae Hodges, to Jamas W.

The wedding will be an event of

Miss Hodges is a graduate of the
Bartlesville hlghschool and is a
Junior In the college of business
administration at the University of
Oklahoma, Norman.
The prospective bridegroom grad-
uated from the El Reno hlghschool
with the class of INI. He is now
a Junior in the college of business
administration, University of Okla-

party for members of the Young
Matrons club and their husbands.

Give Food for Christmas
Members of the American Legion
auxiliary met Thunday evening In
the downstairs parlor of the Legion
building.
During the bustneee meeting, It
was voted to send a basket of food
to a needy veteran's family, and
Mn. Charles Burger waa appointed
to handle the filling of the basket.
Plans were made to’ trim the
Christmas tree In the Legion Bud-
ding at 3 p.m. Sunday, and fill sacka
for the Christmas party, which will
be at 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, In the
upstaln hall of the Legion building.
Mrs. Arthur Foster will be In
charge of the program at the party,
which will be preeChted by the
children.
All members of the American Le-
gion, the Auxiliary and their chil-
dren, were Invited to attend.
