Worship service was conducted
by Mrs. Vara VanGundy.

Wedding Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. John McNew, south
of El Reno, entertained Wednes-
day evening with a dinner honor-
ing her parents. Mr. and Mrs.
W. L. Leach, on their 59th wedding
anniversary.

Omer Leach, Mr. and Mrs. olin
McNew, daughter Belinda, and
son, John Kirk, and Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Borchers and daughter

On Orchid Growing
Dr. Jack Myers was guest speak-
er Wednesday evening at a dinner-
meeting for members of the Jay-
cec Jaynes in the homemaking
room at the highschool.
Dr. Myers discussed raising
orchids and showed several va
rities of the plant.
Hostesses for the dinner were
Mrs. Sid Nelson, Mrs. Ed Metz,
and Mrs. Sherman Davis.
Mrs. Harry Headley reported on
the progress of plans for the style
show, to be held in March at the
Roeket theatre. The Jaynes will
continue to meet on Thursday
nights at the home of Mrs R. L.
Richcrson, 824 South Hadden, to
work on souvenir moccasins.
Mrs. Ben Musser was also a
guest. Members present were Mrs.
Mervil Meyer, Mrs. Clarence Gir-
ard, Mrs. Paul Bavousctte, Mrs.
Floyd Birden, Mrs. Sam Davis,
Mrs. Bill Hutson, Mrs. Gene
Marshall, Mrs. Harry Ward, Mrs.
Ernest Potts, Mrs. Gene Dozier,
and Mrs. Kenneth Stearns.

into membership of the Catholic
Daughters of American during a
business session Wednesday eve-
ning in the Knights of Columbus
hall.
Mrs. Florence Laird, grand re-
gent, appointed Mrs. Don Ahern as
chairman of the Share The Faith
club, to replace Miss Ruth Bun-
nell who resigned.
It was reported that 411 articles
were sent to medical missions in
January.
