ft') a natural question. Anil there's
X a logical answer — lo meet a defi-
nite. growing demand for just sueh a
ear as the 19.18 [)r Luxe Ford V-8.
The Dr Lute was designed for those
who like the ha*ir Ford feature* hot
want more size and style. It bring*
both size and style at low Fort! priees.
•
TIIF HF. LUXE — THE STANDARD
The De Luxe is an addition lo the Ford
line. It looks big and is. It is spacious,
with richer appoint incuts. Sedans have
larger luggage •pare. And under the
hood is the 8!Vhnr«e|towrr V-8 engine.
The new Standard Ford is in many
way* a heifer ear than the 1917 Ford
V-8—which waa hy more
people than any other 1987 make of
ear. It in newly atyled, inside and out.
It Is even lower priced than the Dr
Luxe, hut hnili on the same depend-
able 112-ineh wheelbase chassis — to
the same high standard of mechanical
excellence. And it offers again a choice
of 85 or f>0 horsepower V-8 engines.
V-type 8-cylinder engines were used
only in expensive ear* before Ford
found a way lo produce them efficiently
nt a low prirc. Since then, four million
Ford owners huvr proved on the road
that enjoyment and economy can hr
lotill into the sutne 8cylinders hy good
design. The thrifty “60” engine, espe-
cially, brings H-cylinder pleasure
right down to the base of the low-price
held — in first cost and o|»rraiing eo«t.
Hundred* of owner* have been report-
ing 22 to 27 mile* per gallon of ga*.
HOTII BRING FORI) VALUE
With two designs, two engine*, and
two price range*, it's easier than ever,
this year, lo pick a Ford ear that rloselv
fit* your personal preference. K hirh-
ever you choose, whatever you pay.
you’ll get the value for which the Ford
name stand*.
