club members was enjoyed Wed-
nesday afternoon at the home of

avenue, where a chicken dinner was
held in the form of a covered
dish affair.
Following the bountiful repast
bunco was the diversion with play-
ers at five tables. Favor for high
score went to Miss Catherine
Weicher.
During a brief business session
the group voted $1.90 to the Rad
Cross for flood relief. Mrs. Glenn
Crawford and Mrs. Ben Tharp were
welcomed into membership.
Then a clever contest was fea-
tured, in which Mrs. Charles Ber-
nell won the prize The remain-
der of the afternoon was spent in-
formally.
