The buffet was traced with a
black vase of orchid larkspur flank-
ed on either side by oink tapers in
low black holders, while roses and
larkspur were arranged in vases at
other vantage noints to add to
the beautv of the setting.
The dining table, where gifts of
the shower were arranged, was
centered with a miniature bride
and rmom beneath a lovely pink
t"ble lamn from which a shower
of pink end blue stlearners fell to

Bridee and bunco were the diver-
sion with favor for hteh score at
bridge going to MKs Little and the
b'ttv'O award to Mrs. Porter. Thcv
most graciously presented their
priecf to the honoree.
Pink rose buds in crystal vases
centered the tables when delicious
refreshments of a pink and white
color note were served by the
hostesses and Mrs. Cot lev The
blooms were r iven as cut prises
and went to Mrs Mayfield, Mrs.
Carlson and Mrs. Biggert.
Mr* lebow disolayed her many
beautiful remembrances for ad-
miration at the close of the de-
lightfully pleasant evening.

band has been named manager of

lish tlicir home here Aug. 1. fol-
lowing her return from a vacation
| spent at her narents’ summer
home at Fergus Falls. Minn. Mrs.
Borders Is a graduate of the Uni-
versity of Minnesota and a member
of Pi Re*a Phi. At Enid, where
Mr. and Mrs. Borders have resid-
ed the past two years she was a
member of the Junior Welfare
league, and also Is a member of
the American Association of Unl-
versily Women. Prior to her mar-
riage she served for two years as
home service director for Hie gas
company in its Tulsa office.
