There are many fact finding agencies that make minute
checks into the pulling power of advertising mediums both from
a direct mail as well as a newspaper standpoint. They .have
available the government circulation statements that are made by
daily newspapers. Reader interest is also counted on heavily, the
appearance and make up of the paper, its news service and fea-
tures, all go toward the final report that is made upon a medium.
\T 7 HEN national advertisers make their choice of an adver-
yV tising medium, after a check of iesulfs, the local adver-
tiser has an important “guide post*’ erected. 'Here'in El
Reno and Canadian county The Daily Tribune covers the field
completely and effectively. Not a day goes by that some local
advertiser dee's not mention to some member of the Tribune staff
the exceptional results he has received from advertising in this
newspaper. The Tribune deeply apple dates this attitude and
will continue to bend its every effort to the upbuilding of the
newspaper.
T~\ EADER interest, next to circulation, is one of the ‘,‘ele-
rCmcnts” that makes newspaper advertising effective. The
* Tribune for the past six months averaged 3,716 copies daily,
.lust another indication of reader interest is seen in the hundreds
who have taken part in the population contest conducted by The
Tribune.
