In order that we may success-
fully and profitably market our
fruit crop this year, it is deem-
ed expedient by some of the
largest producers of fruit in the
county that we organize a fruit'
growers association immodjatel
The game was played on the
new diamond recently made by
donation trom the live boosters
of the city. Some gave money,
some time and others both
money and time.
Yes it sure was some game.
It would be hard to pick out
any one play as a feature as the
entire game was a feature its-
self—unless we mention Spies
pitching when in tight holes.
In the 8th inning with two men
on and only one out he proceed-
ed to strike out the next two
without allowing a run to score.
The team sure was full of pep
and confidence. At no stage of
the game did they figure to
loose. The 9th inning finish
was a thriller.
It took little Earl Coombs to
turn in the 1st run for the Jac-
obs and it took clarence West-
over to finish it in the 11th

When you want your Ford car repaired, in-
sist always upon getting the genuine Ford
parts, made by the Ford Motor company, in
order to insure reliable quality. There are
“spurious” counterfeit” “imitation” parts
made by outside concerns who have no re-
gard for quality in material, so insist on
your Garage or Repair Man furnishing you
the genuine Ford Parts. All reliable gar-
ages may now buy the genuine Ford Parts
from us—so there’s no excuse for any one
using the “bogus” parts. Ta be sure,
bring your car to us for repairs or replace-
