and gardens in this locality.
Mrs. Nettie Nichols and daughters
arc visiting Mrs. J. W. Harrist this
week.
Mrs. J. E. Hall has been on the sick
list this week.
Ed Ragsdale’s baby has been sick.
Some few have left this vicinity to
go to harvest.
Mrs. Oscar and children visited her
mother, Mrs. Sarah Conner last week.
Margaret, the little daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Kirby Williams has
been chilling.
Orin Williams got his mare hurt.
There is not much chance for her to
get well.

Pauline Goble of Chandler and Mrs.
Milicent Rose and little daughter, Lu-
cile of Chickasha were over Sunday
guests at the homes of W. P. Goble
and F. y. Miller.
Mrs. Elva Miller and two children
Meade Evans returned to work at
Bristow Sunday after spending a
week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
J. N. Evans.
Pat Fullerlove went to Sparks
Tuesday to visit Jess Menasco.
A colt belonging to W. 0. Haun was
badly cut on the barbed wire last
week.
Joseph Mosier and two sons return-
ed to their home near McAlester last
Monday after visiting several weeks
with his sons’ Jeff and Tom Mosier.
Little Daisy Morehouse has been
sick for a few days.
James Gilliam’s baby is much bet-
ter.
Alfred Stewart returned to his
work in Kansas after a few weeks
visit with home folks.

Carl Lamar visited with Ivan
Thomas Sunday.
Ernest Haley of McLoud was a
guest Monday of W. C. Elliott.
Miss Mabel Sherill was a guest of
Lizzie Trent Saturday night.
There was an ice cream supper at
Jeff Mosier’s Saturday night and re-
gardless of the rain, a most enjoyable
time was had by all.
