You hear complaints on all
sides of high prices, but we be-
lieve high prices have beiiefitted
us all. The country was never
in a more prosperous condition.
As one farmer stated it, his hoy
used to get $15 per month for
work on the farm, savin# his
earnin'.: for several weeks to buy
a suit of clothes. Now lie gets
$125 for the same work, pays $100
for his suit and has $25 over and
above. Why complain of high
prices ?
The Town Tattler
Complaints continue to come in
from subscribers who fail to re
ceivjt* their paper, mostly those
who live on the routes. There are
many reasons how this could oc-
cur with such frequency, but there
are no plausible reasons why
there should. The l imes checks
over the list after the address has
been written and we are positive
it is through no fault of our own.
