The McKinley Memorial Fund.
The work of raising funds for
the building of the National M
morial for President McKinley,
is now going on all over the
United States.
Kaeli .tale ha* been asked to
raise a certain amount. The
National committee has asked
thft Oklahoma raise 92,<khi.
The governor ha* appointed a
committee to take this matter in
charge, and Charles K. Billings-
ley, of Guthrie, has Keen made
chairman of this committee.
This is certainly a worthy
cause, and Oklahoma should not
be behind in doing her part in the
matter.
Those who desire to contribute
to this fund, may send any
amount they feel like j^ ing to
Mr. Billingsley, and the amount
will be forwarded to the National
committee.
But thirty flays arc1 left to com-
plete this • subscript jon, audit is
hoped that the public spirit will
be prompt in their liberality and
respond to the call of the Terri-
torial committee at once.
