night it was resolved to enforce t he col-
lection of the special tax levy of 1803,
and the ordinance was declared to be
in full force and effect. It was also
decided to borrow money to pay the
interest on the funding bonds, and to
create a Mu king fund for the pay-
ment of interest in the future.
