A block of oil leases are being!
taken up just west of Perkins
and, we understand, is about
completed. These people are in
hopes of getting a drilling con
tract and we certainly hope they
do. There is lots of “wild cat’
territory in this country to de-
velop and the land owners must
olter any encouragement if they
e ver expect o have oil developed
iis part of the country. The
block of leases southeast of Coyle
are hanging on a very few people
who are holding out on leasing
v. d unless they come in then
will be no drilling on this block
for some time at least.
