TICHENOR SAYS,
My opinion is that the recent rain came
too late to materially benefit the corn crop in its present advanc-
ed state, and my honest belief is that the wisest thing a farmer
can now do to insure a grain and forage crop is to plant a large
acreage of
Kafir Corn
which is a sure crop under almost all weather conditions. I have
a new supply of c ean, sweet seed-plant it now.
I also have several barrels of Stock salt which I will close out at
less than wholesale cost.
