The service at the Episcopal church
tonight will be a "Litany” service
not "Michaelmas.” and the brief ad-
dress will be a "lenten” not a "Lin-
coln” address as announced vester-
day. Another ridiculous blunder
arising from hearing indistinctly Mver
the phone, and disclosing the writer’s
ignorance of church ceremonials,
McElHinney & Ellis have on ex-
hibition at their drug store a natural
curiosity in the form of a corn cob
which simulates u human hand. The
resemblance is very striking in the
wrist, the palm and the lirst joint of
thumb and lingers. The curiosity was
brought in by a colored man whoge
name the firm failed to learn.

bands of the territory are furnishing
music.
