spend several weeks visiting at Ho-
bart. Gotebo and Chickasha before
returning home.
Miss Helen Gerrer went to Okla-
homa City today to visit friends. To-
morrow she wilj go to Pauls Valley
where she will appear upon the pro-
gram at a musical given by the ladies
music club.
Mr. and Mrs. Gus Busch will en-
tertain at dinner Sunday evening in
lompliment to Mrs. Frank Knowlton
of Des Moines, Iowa
Mrs. F. H. Reed, of Oklahoma City
atue over today to join her daughter
Miss Freda, who has been the guest
or several days of Miss Lou Halich-
ott. After luncheon today they re-
turned to Oklahoma City.
Mrs. Fred Jones of Davis, Okla-
homa, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs.
'. H. Woodruff.

ed meeting tomorrow afternoon at
four o'clock at the Sacred Heart

Mr. Earnest Blake. .Jr of Okla-
homa City, is spending the week end

Tinklepaugh.
Mr. and Mrs. V. K. Fair returned
e.-'crday from Mineral Wells, Texas
where they have spent several
nonths for the benefit of Mr. Fair's
health which is much improved.
Mrs. John Gallagher was hostess
to the Kensington Club yesterday.
The usual hour of needlework was
enjoyed and dainty refreshments
were served. Mrs. Dan Gallagher
and Mrs. J. O Chamness were addi-
tional guests.

will stop over Tuesday for a few days
with Mrs. Godfrey Shackelford, and
other friends. Mrs. Widdicomb was
formerly Miss l&hel Rickey, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs Frank E. Rickey, and
was born and raised in El Reno, and
many friends will be glad to greet
her. A number of social honors art
being planned for her.
Mrs. Ellis Williams was hostess to
the Elite Club yesterday afternoon,
for their social metfting of the
month. In a guessing contest Mrs.
Harry Jensen won the prize and Mrs
Howard Crockett won 'the consola-
tion. A delectable luncheon was
served the guests and Japanese bas-
kets were given as favors. Mrs. Earl
Pirtle was an additional guest. The
club will meet next nionlh with Mrs.
Elmer Brown.

El Reno friends will be grieved to
learn of the death of Mrs. Barbra
Shuttee last evening at the home of
her son. Dr. H. T. Shuttee, ait West
Plains, Mo. She was advanced in
ige and had been in ill health for
some time. Dr. and Mrs. H, T.
Smith, Miss Mary Shuttee and Mr.
')tto Shuttee. left this morning for
VVeit Plains to attend the funeral.
The deceased was well known here
having made many visits to her son.
