An effort is being made at Fairview
to have a new public school building
The Farmers’ Mutual Insurance As-
sociation of Custer county has 1,000
policies in force in the third year of
E. Stewart, a negro prisoner in the
county at Cluremore, escaped Tues-
day night by burning a hole through
a wall of the jail.
The commercial club of Ada has

necessarily caused his arrest on a
charge of theft.
Gideon Graham, former state sen-
ator, has purchased the Dan M. Hause
farm, four miles north of Claremore,
which included a lease on an adjoin-
ing tract of 120 acres, making a to-
tal of 420 acres in all. It is Graham’s
intention to create a ranch.
Contract for the erection of a Metho-
dist church building at .Idabel has
been let. The building will be con-
structed of brick and will be the first
brick church building in the town. A
theater building, a three-story hotel
and three brick business houses are
