M ll. Morrison of this city la In
the Galloway Hospital at Anthony,
Kansas, suffering from Injuries re-
ceived last Saturday night when he
wa„ shot by highwaymen who at-
tempted to hold him up at Canton
Oklahoma. His condition Is not ser-
ious it is said.
Morrison who owns a Hiring of
1 ace horses was on his way uptown
from the Canton race track about
11-30 Saturday night when three
men at the point of a gun forced
him to accompany them into a side
street where they relieved him of a
diamond valued at $259 and $26 in
