Britain Studies Treaty
LONDON. Feb. 7.— OP) -Great
Britain la studying “carefully and
sympathetically” a draft of a new
Britlsh-Amerlcan arbitration treaty
which President Collidge communicat-
ed to the foreign office Dec. 26, King
George said ln his speech from the
throne Tuesday at the opening of
parliament.
The new treaty, the king explained,
would replace the Root treaty.
“It will be considered ln communi-
cation with my governments In the
dominions," King George said.
