for the one large table, while tho
Christmas color note of red and green
was observed In all appointments of
the lovely menu.
Tho afternoon was delightfully do
voted to bridge with favors being pro-
tented to Mrs. Walter Bradley and

friends In thia city was the marriage
of Mlaa Lucille Hardy to Hayoa F.
Haney of Oklahoma City, which was
quietly solemnised at Chandler, Okla.,
Thursday, November 29.
Mrs. Haney, attractive daughter of
Mrs. C. E. Hardy of Corsicana, Texas,
I well known In El Reno having for-
merly been employed by the Haydou
Galt Insurance company. For the past
several months she baa been associ-
ated with the H. E. Polo Insurance
company In Oklahoma City. She Is, a
niece of Mrs. E It. Baruhardt, bOl
South Elliaon, with whom she made
her home while residing1 In this city.
Mr. and Mrs. Haney will be at
home to their many friend# In Okla-
homa City where the former Is asso-
ciated with tho American Express

when the Episcopal Guild met Thurs-
day afternoon ut the Parish house
The Interesting lesson on "The
Stewardship of Life" win ably led by
Mrs C. F. Dorchester.

dish luncheon In he held at the Par-

Stuffing for Goose
1 cup mashed potatoes.
4 apples.
4 onions.
i* teaspoonful powdered sage.
1. teaspoonful of thyme.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Take one rup of mushed potatoes,
four apples (peeled nicely and cored),
and four onions; take one half lea
; spoonful of sago, powdered well; one-
half teaspoonful of thyme and pepper
and salt to taste. Place the apples
; and onions and herbs In a saucepan
and add water sufficient lo cover
nicely. I,ct all rook together till soft
Then muh well nnd rub through a
sieve. Add the cup of mashed po-
tatoes and mix w. II, seasoning with
salt and pepper. Stuff tho goose and
bake.
