slogan posted conspicuously about

ty to press f«r a revision of affairs
. on the eastern front is the appeal of
) Lithuiana against Poland for alleged
persecutions of Lithuanian inhabi-
tants in the region of Vllna. The
question is intended to reopen the
whole problem of Poland’s occupa-
tion and annexation of the city of
Vilna, which all of the leading pow-
ers. except Germany have tacitly
recognized.
j While Dr. Stresemann has not y*»»
had tn opportunity to announce pub-
licly his position on this question,
it is expected in League circles that
he will back in the extreme degree
Lithuania’s appeal.

COLUMBIA, S. C., Dec. 6.—(UP) —
The grave of Francis Marlon, the
"Swamp Fox.” is almost inaccessible
tc tourists, according to those who re-
cently tried to visit the tomb of the
famous general of the American Rev-
olution.
General Marion’s grave is a mile off
the main highway, and plans are now
under way to widen the narrow dirt
road with its entrenching trees which
make difficult automobile passage to
the shrine of the Carolinian.
