QOMETIME ago, while a business man was tele-
^phoning, a friend in hia office beard him say to the
^person at the other end of the wire: *T don't hear you
clearly. Are vour Upe dees to the transmitter? Ah!
That is much better. I hear you perfectly now."

TY7E BELIEVE that you all realise the necessity of a
fimt claaa BAKERY in your town. ? Wa believe you
want us to continue in the business of supplying the pub-
lic demand for fresh bakery goods. | But do you realise
that with flour at the present price, we absolutely cannot
continue in business, unless we receive every bit of busi-
ness of this kind there it|in the neighborhood? 1 Why buy
bread and cakes baked in Wichita or Oklahoma City, when
you can get just as good and much fresher goods baked
right here in Ralston? 1 Why spend >our time in baking
bread and pastry for yourself when you can buy just as
good, or better, cheaper from us? f We can supply you at
all times with almost anything you may wish in tha way
of baked goods, and giva particular attention to special
orders. 1 We guarantee our goods to give absolute satis-
faction, and urge you to give us your patronage, la order
that we may be able to meet the present extreme-
ly high cost of production and continue
to run our bakery in Ralston.
