a good chance to fill his lungs with
the impurities unless the beds and
bedding are kept thoroughly clean. If
the fall cleaning routs a lot of flower
pots out of the best window it cer-
tainly will be a fine thing, and don't
allow too many dust catching orna-

winter. Autumn is a good timo to
hang paper for we then have some-
thing fresh to look at during the time
we have to spend indoors, and it is
not a difficult feat in these days when
one can buy ready mixed paints to
give all the woodwork of a room a now
coating of paint and it adds a world
fo freshness to the room. To remove
grease spots from rugs, dissovle a tea-
spoonful of salt in a pint of gasoliue
and use for cleaning the spot, and if
the whole rug needs cleaning, remove
all dust and spots, tack to a clean
