WASHINGTON: The republican
membera of the bouse in caucda unan
imously declared in favor of admit-
ting Oklahoma and Indian Territory
as one state, and by a rote of 310 to
65, declared In faror of admitting
Arizona and New Mexico as one state.
Both statehood question are to be
considered in one bill. Tbe confer-
ence which resulted In this action
took place immediately at the concin-
slon of a session of the house, snd
occupied an hour and a half. The
only opposition to tbe program was
directed against joining Arizona and
New Mexico, and it is understood
Mr. Adams of Wisconsin and Mr. Taw-
ney of Minnesota were the two speak-
ers on this side.
The program of the leaders was
presented at tbe outset by Mr Hamil-

GUTHRIE: Miss Ola McCubbins,
a teacher in the Guthrie public
schools, is in a critical condition at
her borne as a result of inhaling the
fumes from formaldehyde, which had
been used freely n the Guthrie schools
to fumigate against scarlet fever.

affected, nor was there aay trouble
