The McFadden Co. has made a locat-
ion for a ;t;50 ).foot test in the south-
east of 5-7-0.
The Ossie Oil Co. headed by Fred
Ossenback of Tulsa, is underrcaming
at 2,180 feet in th-> center of the south
west of the northeast of 10-8-7.
The Smith sand, which K, 11, Smith
found in his wildcat in 33-8-8, was not
picked up by Diamond & Wilmont in
36-8-8, They are now underreaming the
five-inch casing at uround 3,200 and
are preparing to drill to the 3,700-sand
The Independent Oil & Gas Co. is
making rapid progress in its test in the
northwest corner of the east half of
southwest of the northwest of 33 8 8.
This is the first direct offset to the
Smith well to be spudded. The Indep-
endent, Lippa & LeBosquet, have
spudded iu for their test in the north
east corner of the northwest of the
southeast of 32-8-8.
The Magnolia Petroleum Co, is drill-
ing below 200 feet in the center of the
south line of the southwest of the north
west of 18-7-5, just ovir the line in
Pottawatomie county.
