good thing for the man without a job.
And if there is anything that will keep
a man satisfied and out of trouble it is
a good job.
A Russian professor who claimed
a man wTould live to be 150 years old
if he drank butter milk, and who
practiced his preaching, has recently
died at the age of 71. Probably he
had drunk an imitation of buttermilk,
with foam on it until the Duma got
in its work, and never knew the differ-
ence, until he was obliged to resort to
the genuine article.

Votex-N, do not forget that on August
1 t.k* ameadxuent to a>x>li.sh the county
coui tft will be voted upon. This is a very
vftal question, and one that should be
voted down. In Oklahoma county especi-
ally is a county court necessary. The dis-
trict court is overrun with business and
to add that which is now done in the conn
t.y court would be a calamity. The county
court handles principally probate cases,
in which estates of widows and orphans
are involved. The character of the busin-
ess is different from that in the distinct
courts, and should be under different
jurisdiction. Vote against the amend-
ment!
