MRS. ALBERT BUTTERFIELD
Died, at the home of her parents

Loud, Nellie, the second oldest
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. W.
Busch and wife of Albert Butter-
field, 10 o’clock S inday morning, j
April 2, 1905.
.Mrs. Butterfield was horn in
Nemaha County. Kansas, where
her eu ly girlhood was spent until
her removal to Oklahoma with her
povipsat the time of the opening,
since then she has lived in the New
Hope neighborhood where she has
a lutge number of friends who re-
gret her early death. She was u-
nited in marriage to Albert But-
terfield about two years ago. and
leaves one child hut a few days old
The funeral services were held
in the Catholic Church at Shawnee,
Monday, after which the remains
w* iv laid to rest in the cemetery
at that place. The bereaved hus-
band, parents and other tdatives

Fred Couch has a badly bruised
head as the result of a knock down
which occured Monday night. The
dispute arising over a side bet on a

the free-for-all were I. B. Pouch,
Leslie and Shorty Moore and
Andrew Johnson- The parties have
been arraiged in police court and
fined for assault and battery and
we under stand there are other
charges to be tried later on.
