Nearly a Half Million Dollars
Was recently paid for an eighty-acre oil lease in the Cushing fild.
Think what the 6000 acres held by the Luther Gas & Oil Company will be
worth if we strike oil here! Can you afford, for the small amount it will cost
you, not to become interested with us. Many Big Fortunes are being made in
Okla. The development of the Oklahoma oil fields is doing it. Most of the big
money is being made by investors living in other Slates. The people of Okla-
homa have not yet realized the great opportunity that is lying z* their very doors.
The State of Oklahoma is one of the greatest oil and gas producing
regions in the world. In ten years more than 300,000,000 barrels of oil
have been produced in this State and yet, according to Professor Charles
N. Gould, ex-State Geologist, only one-fisth of the gas and oil producing
territory of the State has been touched.
At this time an average of more than 900 new wells are being brought
in each month it this State.
If it is true that a man’s success in life is measured by his investments
isn’t it time that you consider thoughtfully the proposition of putting some
of your spare money into an oil investment in Oklahoma?
The demand for oil is exceeding the production. This is proved by
the fact that the reserve stock of the big companies are being depleted
every day.
The market is strong and sure. Nothing but the discovery of some
great new source of production, another Glenn Pool, for instance, can have
a tendency to reduce the price of oil. The demand is in excess of the rate
of production.
Strange as it may seem the business of oil development is one of the
SAFEST of ventures. In Oklahoma it is particularly so.
In the entire history of oil development in Oklahoma the failures re-
corded amount to LESS 'PHAN ELEVEN PER CENT, and over 28,000
wells were completed.
Outside of banking and money-lending can you think of any other line
of business that can show a record for safety like this? Think it over.
That Luther is in the main gas and oil field of Oklahoma is the opinion of
many geologists. The United States gevernment officials, as will as the state
geologist, believe Luther is in the oil belt. So do the members of the Luther
Gas & Oil Company. We have 6000 acres of leases, and we are going to drill
as soon as enough money is raised for this purpose. Every shareholber will
share in the dividends of these leases. If oil or gas is found, these leases alone
will be worth ten times the value of the stock. Do you want to take a chance
with us? If so, write for particulars, which will be cheerfully furnished. We
have a square deal , and that is important. You cannot lose.
