E. Devour, of Curtis, was in town
this week. Mr. Devour sold out hie
mercantile business in Curtis some
time ago, and thinks he will go fur-
ther south or west.
On February 26, at Kemmerer,
Wyo., twenty-six men were burned in
a coal mine. When all hope of res-
cuing them was gone, the shafts
were closed. All were foreigner*,
and their names have not been learned.
