the IJeynolds hotel Friday night of

visiting her father when the child wns

Mr. Bishop had formerly been a
resident of Durant and was 75 years
of age last March. Four children
survive him.
TEXAS POLL TAX LAW VOID
A district judge at Houston Texas
has declared void the poll tax law
passed by the Texas Legislature. The
decision will permit women of Texas
to vote in the geneial ejection Novem-
ber 2 without the payment of a poll
tax.
