A magistrate who married the daugh-
ter of a miser who was Immensely
wealthy was continually complaining
to the father of the bad temper of the
girl. "My friend" said the miser
"you are right Marie has a dreadful
temper but I will punish her If she
gives you any further trouble. I will
disinherit her." The father heard no
more complaints. And this Is precisely
what our Father will do for us If we
continue to complain of his grace and
his providence. Though we are his
children he holds the right to disin-
herit us if we refuse to walk In the
path of piety and duty. ELLMORE.
