will revoke all pardons and paroles
issued durltfg his absence by Lieu
tenant Governor McAlester except
those that were recommended by tho
Board of Prison Control during his
absonce. This will includo tho par-
dpns Issued by 'the Lioutenant Gov-
ernor ln cases where the board had
rocommended and yGovernor Cruco
had refused them.
The governor said ho had assur
ance from the Lieutenant Governor
before he left the state that his acts
would bo confined to those casos
where the board made recommenda
tions during his occupancy of the
office. Governor Cruce is surprised
that action was taken ln other cases.

fixed up the Katy and the FrlBco rail-
roads decided not to have bonds issue
for their part of .the work and decid-
ed to do tho)r own work which was
an amount of about 10 thousand dol-
lars. Consequently tho council re-
scinded the action authorizing the 69
thousand dollar bond Ibsuo and in
place thereof authorized an issue of
59 thousand dollars in bonds. These
latter bonds wero subsequently sold
to different small Investors in differ-
ent parts of the country and tho in-
terest coupons have been presented
by tho bond holders and paid every
six months.
Soon after tho First of September
this year the Durant National Bank
received from the American National
Bank at Stlglor Oklahoma a batch
of nlnqty-threo semi annual Interest
coupons calling for tho interest ln a
sum of $2391.45. This aroused the
suspicion pf tho officers of the hank
and City Attorney Kyle nnd aU In
yestlgatioa was mado which resulted
la tho Issuing of warrants for the ar
rest of D'Yarmett and McLaughlin.
The Stlgler bank was called over the
phone ln reference to the coupons and
stated that they had bee received
